Hiring the Club
The club has two buildings located on Trent Side North at Trent Bridge, West Bridgford. The two venues available for hire are the Boat Club and the Britannia as detailed below. Further information and hire charges also shown.
For further information please call the club on 0115 981 1251 and leave a message on the answer 'phone or contact the events manager. Alternatively, you can contact the Events Team on 07775876964. Once you have spoken to the Events Team, you can complete the booking with our booking form and send it to the club with the deposit.
The Boat Club

The Boat Club has a history of being a good venue for a great party. In the 60's and 70's it hosted bands - Led Zepplin - Black Sabbath - Sex Pistols and many others. Artists such as John Lee Hooker - Eric Clapton - John Mayall - Rod Steward and Elton John all walked the boards down at The Boat. |

Hire includes hall, bar area, toilets & washroom facilities and bar staff. The hall may be decorated by hirers with the agreement of the Club. Additional facilities may be offered at extra cost where possible — please let us know your requirements when you book. |

There is a stage with lighting system. The Club does not hire DJ's, Bands or PA systems, but might be able to give advice on who and where if required. The Club does not have catering facilities, although it can provide tables for those who wish to bring pre-prepared food or outside caterers. |

The bar has beer, lager and cider on tap and a good range of bottled beers, spirits, wines and soft drinks. Requests for particular beers/real ale can be arranged if sufficient notice is given. |

The Boat Club capacity, with use of the hall and bar area is ideal for 100 to 250 people (maximum). The bar area would accommodate 50 to 60 people. |
The Britannia

The Britannia boat house contains a venue with a difference, a fabulous “cave”. |

Hire includes the recently redecorated front bar, the cave, toilets & washroom facilities and bar staff. |

The cave may be decorated by hirers with the agreement of the Club. Additional facilities may be offered at extra cost where possible — please let us know your requirements when you book. |

Further Information and Hire Charges
Please note that the club is unlikely to agree to host birthday parties for people under the age of 21 because of licensing issues.
The venues may be viewed prior to booking by arranging to meet the events manager. Arrange a meeting via email. or telephone the club on 0115 981 1251 and leave a message on the answer 'phone, or alternatively contact the Events Team on 07775876964. Once you have spoken to the Events Team, you can complete the booking with our booking form and send it to the club with the deposit.
If you would like an informal viewing please visit the club on a Saturday or Sunday morning between 9am and 12pm.
The venues are available as standard from 7.30pm until 12, and a late bar is available until 1am for a charge of £40. Rates for all day or extended hire are negotiable.
